no time wasted, no love lost

Any time a connection ends, I reflect on what I learned from the situation and how I can do better going forward. Over time and as I’ve matured, I’ve learned to take accountability and process my wrongdoings in any given relationship. I also reevaluate what I allowed and make it a priority to not let anyone treat me similarly going forward. Not every bond has to end dramatically and sometimes relationships end their course, platonically and romantically. I’ve learned to accept seasonal connections for what they are — temporary. I’ve come to cherish the positive memories that were made and no longer dwell on the negative ones. Sharing my love with others and allowing myself to be experienced is a subjective matter, but I know through it all that at the end I can say I did my best.
